I read Lights Out last summer, and was very impressed with it. I have recently started trying to go to bed earlier - in bed reading by 9 and lights out by 10 - based on the research I read in this book. I highly recommend the book, but in the absence of that, this interview will give you a good overview of the contents of the book.
One very interesting part of the interview is where T.S. talks about an experiment done on young men that showed differences in weight and insulin levels based on how much sleep - in the dark - they were getting each day. Fascinating stuff!
