MAY 2 - WEEK 59 REPORT


This week I lost 1 pound.
Beginning weight - 142.0 pounds
Ending weight - 141.0 pounds

Here is an average of my daily food intake for this past week:

1965 Calories
145.9g Fat (66.8%)
116.7g Protein
46.3g Carbs
22.2g Fiber
24.1g net carbs, of which 14g came from veggies

I gained 0.4 pounds, so now I weigh 141. But I have lost inches - more on that in a minute...

According to the scale, I have lost 1 pound in the past 7 days.
According to my 1-week average, I have lost 4.7 pounds in the past 7 days.
According to my 4-week average, I have lost 0.3 pounds in the past 7 days.

If I continue to lose weight at the same rate that I have for the past 4 weeks, 0.4 pounds per week, I will reach my goal on 11/10/2010. I like the sound of that!

Since February 25, 2009, here is what I have lost:

Starting weight on February 25, 2009 – 158 pounds
Ending weight on May 2, 2010 – 141 pounds
Total loss – 17 pounds for an average of 0.27 pounds per week

I lost 1-1/4” from my neck
I gained 1/4” on my biceps (this is good, because I am building muscle)
I lost 2” from my bust
I lost 2-1/4” from my midriff
I lost 2” from my waist
I lost 4-3/4” from my navel
I lost 3-1/2” from my hips
I lost 2-1/2” from my thighs
I lost 1” from my calves

The total I have lost is 22.25" from all the above combined. When I was at my smallest Atkins size on August 2, 2009, I had lost 23.25", so I only have to lose 1 more inch from all these areas combined, and I will be back were I was before I started gaining weight again.

To get back to that size, I would have to:

Gain 1/4" in my neck (my neck is smaller now than what is was then!)
Lose 1/4" off my bust
Lose 1/4" off my midriff
Lose 1/2" off my waist
Lose 3/4" from my navel
Lose 1/4" from my hips
Lose nothing from my thighs (Yay! I have last August's thighs!)
Gain 1/2" in my calves (my calves are smaller now than they were then!)

Because I was in the hospital, and then I was bloated from surgery, I have not taken my measurements for 3 weeks. So compared to 3 weeks ago, right before surgery,

I lost 1/4” from my neck
I lost 1/4” from my hips
I lost 1/4” from my thighs
I lost 1/4” from my calves

That's a total of 1.5", considering I have 2 thighs and 2 calves.

According to the scale, I have lost 0.4 pounds in the last 3 weeks.
According to my 1-week average, I have lost 2.4 pounds in the last 3 weeks.
According to my 4-week average, I have gained 0.6 pounds in the last 3 weeks.

Here are my measurements today:

12.5" - neck
12" - bicep
9" - forearm
36.25" - bust
30" - midriff
29.5" - waist
33.5" - navel
38.5" - hips
22" - thighs
13.5" - calves

I remember that when I got married at the age of 18, my weight was 118 pounds and I was 34-24-36. And I thought I was fat! HA!

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast
Eggs Florentine - eggs, spinach, cheese sauce, 1 slice bacon
3.2 oz. raw tomatoes with sea salt

Lunch
1 link Jennie-O Turkey Italian Sausage, with 1 Tbs, mayo and 1/2 tsp. mustard
Salad - romaine lettuce, zucchini, avocado, with my homemade olive oil/lime juice/crushed garlic salad dressing
3 Tbs. Isopure Vanilla Protein Powder in water

Snack at the movies
Atkins Bar

Dinner
4.4 oz. (raw weight) ground sirloin, grilled, with 2 tsp. butter, and sea salt
2 oz. (raw weight) kale, oven roasted with olive oil and sea salt

Dessert
2 Tbs. heavy cream, with 4 oz. strawberries, 3 drops Stevia, 1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups Count Chocula

2003 calories
146.9g fat (66%)
108.1g protein
62.1g carbs
32.3g fiber
29.8 net carbs, of which 13.9 were from veggies
