Today is my weekly measuring day. In the past 7 days, my measurements stayed the same.
To get back to my smallest size on June 13, 2010, I need to lose:
1/4" from my bust
3/4" from my waist
3/4" from my waist
1" from my navel
1/2" from my hips
Here is what I have lost so far, since starting to lose weight in February 2009:
Neck - 13.75" to 12.5" - down 1.25"
Bicep - 11.75" to 11" - down 0.75"
Forearm - 9" - no change
Bust - 38.25" to 35.75" - down 2.5"
Midriff - 32.25" to 29.5" - down 2.75"
Waist - 31.5" to 29.5" - down 2"
Navel - 38.25" to 33" - down 5.25"
Hips - 42" to 38.75" - down 3.25"
Thigh - 24.5" to 22" - down 2.5"
Calf - 14.5" to 13.5" - down 1"
My goal is to weigh 130 pounds with 25% body fat. In order to meet that goal, I need to lose around 19 pounds of fat and gain around 10 pounds of muscle.
Rebecca I just wanted to say Thank You for being such an inspiration to me especially regarding weight loss and hormonal imbalance. I have been on my journey since Jan 2010 @ 170lbs and now I am 143 lbs. I can't tell you how frustrating it was not losing in the beginning -- but I stuck it out and followed your plan in the New Atkins book and slowly but surely I started to lose. My goal is 125 - 130lbs. Thanks so much for sharing your story!

Thanks, Tina! It is very frustrating when you "do" everything right and still can't really lose weight due to hormonal issues. I have been on this plateau for over a year now. It gets old. But I am better than I was before, and eating healthier, and I refuse to surrender. Keep up the good fight yourself!

Hi Rebecca!
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog via Jimmy Moore. I am 57 and began my LC healthy journey February 2009 weighing in at 181 lbs. I am 57, 5'4" and down from a starting weight of 181 to 137. I fluctuate up and down within a two - three pound range. This year has been between 136 and 139. Last year it was 137 - 140. My goal for this year is to get to a range of 134 - 137. It IS a very slow, but worthwhile, process. The benefits are too much to give up on.
Thanks for keeping up this wonderful site!
Sue
